Managing Assets in Church360° Unite

In Church360° Unite, any file—whether it's an image, video, audio, or document—that you upload to your site is considered an Asset. Assets use a portion of your church’s storage, and your available storage depends on your subscription level:

  • Basic: 2GB
  • Advanced: 10GB
  • Premium: Unlimited

Proper security and management of these assets are essential. You want to ensure that only the intended individuals have access to them, and that unused assets don’t take up valuable space. Church360° Unite supports both of these goals:

Asset Security

Church360° Unite protects your assets by restricting access based on the visibility of the page where the asset was originally uploaded. Even if an asset is linked elsewhere—on another page or outside your website—its visibility remains tied to the original page’s settings:

  • Public: Assets uploaded to public pages are visible to anyone, including users without a login.
  • Members Only: Assets uploaded to non-group members-only pages are visible only to logged-in users.
  • Draft: Assets uploaded to draft pages are visible only to logged-in users who are designated as Publishers, Designers, or Administrators.
  • Group: Assets uploaded to group pages set to "Only Group Members" are visible only to group members and Administrators.

Asset Cleanup

To help manage storage, Church360° Unite automatically flags assets for deletion if the link to that asset is removed from all pages on your site. These flagged assets will display a ! symbol in the “Assets uploaded to this page” section of the upload window. This flag may not appear immediately.

If the asset is not re-added to a page within 90 days, it will be permanently deleted from your site.
