Include Events from Google Calendar

This feature will allow you the option to include your events from your Google account.

Steps to include your Google Calendars in Church 360° Unite:

  1. At Google.com, log in to your Google Account
  2. Next to the circle that shows the first letter of your account name, or your profile picture, click on the button with nine smaller circles arranged in a 3x3 grid and then select "Calendar"
  3. Under "My Calendars" on the left-hand side of the page, move your mouse over the calendar you want to share, click the three vertical dots next to the calendar name, and then click "Settings and Sharing.
  4. Scroll down to the "Access permissions for events" section and check the "Make available to public" checkbox, and confirm you want to make your calendar public. After that, in the drop-down box to the right, select "See all event details."
  5. Scroll down to the Integrate calendar section, and you'll see a "Calendar ID". Copy this to your clipboard by highlighting it, right-clicking it, and clicking "Copy".
  6. Go to your Church360° Unite site and log in as an administrator. Then, click on Settings and then Calendars
  7. At the top of the window, in the drop-down box, where it says "Unite Calendar" switch it to "Google Calendar" and in the box next to that, right-click and click "Paste" to copy over your Google Calendar ID, and then click "Create Calendar"
  8. Click “Allow” to allow Church360° Unite access to your Google Calendars and verify your settings.
  9. Once the process is completed, your Calendars page will list your Google Calendars. You will also be able to choose which ones to display.

Note: You cannot edit Google Calendar events from within Church360° Unite.
