Connecting Google Workspace to your Domain

If Concordia Technology Solutions manages your domain, and you use Google Workspace, you'll want to get your Google Workspace account connected with your domain so you can use custom emails with your domain name. We've included instructions from Google below on how to get this set up. For the latest instructions, be sure to check out the following link:

Instructions from Google

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  3. Click Continue to verify your domain with a TXT record.
  4. Look for your verification code in the setup tool and click Copy. (Send this code to CTS support at support@cts.cph.org along with your domain name. We'll go ahead and get this verification code and MX records added for you for your emails.)

After CTS confirms that the Verification code has been added, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the next page and click Verify my domain.

Important! It might take additional time for your registrar to publish the verification code. If the Google Workspace setup tool gives you an error message, wait an hour before you try again.

In extreme cases, it can take up to 48 hours for your registrar to publish your verification code.
